Hello everyone, today I am bringing yet another cigar from Rocky Patel. Just when you thought you tried all of his cigars “BAM” another one appears on the shelf. Anyway the cigar is call the Rocky Patel Royal Vintage. So with the history behind us let’s get to the review.
CIGAR MAKE UP:
WRAPPER: Seven year old Habano
BINDER & FILLER: Dominican/ Nicaraguan
Length/Ring: 6.5 X 50
Shape: Toro
Strength: Medium
My Observations: This cigar is pretty basic and really is nothing to look at with the naked eye. There are veins present and I did find some soft spots on my finger touch inspection. Over all, I found it to be a true disappointment and question Rocky’s decision to add this one to his vintage line.
Cigar Label: The label is purple and gold.
Snip: Straight cut.
Pre-Draw: Smooth with no flavor detected on the dry run.
Flavors: The 1st third of this cigar consisted of earth and nothing else. The 2nd third continued with the earth and I detected a slight hint of leather. The last third continued with the earth flavor and that’s basically it.
Draw: Smooth.
Burn line: jagged
Price: I paid $29.99 for fifteen cigars from Joes Deal of the Day.
Liked it: Not even close!
Recommend it: No.
Hint: I would skip it!

Nice review man! RP really has to cut down on the blends. I just cant see how he keeps coming up with new stuff that doesnt end up tasting like this one *sigh*.
Make some quality sticks, not quantity !
