La Gloria Cubana Artesanos de Tabaqueros

Hello everyone, today I am bringing you a special new release from the folks at General Cigars. I’ve heard a lot of god things about this strange-looking stick and I figured I would find out for myself. So after a quick trip over to the Regency Cigar Emporium I picked up two for this review. So with the history behind us let’s get to the review and see what this strange-looking stick has in store for me.

WRAPPER: Connecticut Shade & Ecuador Sumatra

BINDER & FILLER: Dominican / Dominican & Honduran

Length/Ring: 6 X 50

Shape: Toro

Strength:Medium to Full

Price: I paid $ 9.57

My Observations: This cigar is a very interesting specimen that will draw your attention to it immediately. This is due to its odd appearance that consist of a third Connecticut and two-thirds maduro. I will honestly admit that once I learned of its existence, I immediately put it on my list to try. The cigar itself is flawless and well made. I found no imperfections and I must say that I was most impressed. On a closer inspection, I found no soft spots and the cap was placed nicely. Trust me when I say this, it is a well made cigar!

Cigar Label: It’s the traditional La Gloria Cubana label so I won’t bore you with the details.

Snip: Straight cut.

Pre-Draw: Fantastic which produced a coffee bean type taste.

Flavors: The 1st third of this cigar consisted of a buttery smooth nutty taste. It fits in right long with the concept of this cigar which boast that the first third is supposed to be the entrée. The 2nd third ends with the buttery smooth creamy flavors and then “Bam” it switches and the steak dinner has arrived. By this I mean the power kicks in and you can immediately begin to taste the deep dark roasted coffee beans and rich dark chocolate. The last third continues with these wonderful flavors but is now joined with spice and finally earth.

Burn line: Perfect

Liked it: Fantastic!

Recommend it: Yes

Hint: Get It!!!!!!

Over All

Until Next Time
