Olor Fuerte

Hello everyone, today I am conducting the last round of the Famous Cigars “Best of the House Sampler” . Today, I selected the Olor Fuerte to review. So with the stick revealed, I’m ready to give you my verdict on whether it passes the mighty “Stew” test or not.

WRAPPER: Talanga Cubano

BINDER & FILLER: Mexican / Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Brazilian

Length/Ring: 5 x 50

Shape: Robusto

Strength: Medium

Price: I paid $0.00, but it’s listed at $5.60 for a single-stick

My Observations: This cigar wrapper has a beautiful dark chocolate wrapper surrounded by small non noticeable veins. As I twirled the cigar in my hand I found no imperfections and I really have to say that the construction is pretty solid and nicely done.

On my finger touch inspection, I found no soft spots and the cap was placed  dead centered. Over all “A” in the grading department.

Cigar Label: Not a bad-looking label that consisted of a black background with blue trim  and gold wording.

Snip: Straight cut.

Pre-Draw: Smooth which produced a pepper taste.

Flavors: The 1st third of this cigar consisted of pepper, earth, and nutmeg flavors. The 2nd third continued with these flavors but was added with a rich maple syrup type flavor. The last third pretty much ended with these flavors and I to tell you the truth, I was deeply impressed with its outcome!

Draw: Smooth and nice

Burn line: Jagged

Liked it: Yes

Recommend it: Yes

Hint: Aging will add to bringing out its rich flavors

Over All

Until Next Time
