Hello everyone, its been awhile since my last review but just like clock work, I’m back. Today’s cigar is the La Aroma De Cuba “Mi Amor” from Don Pepin. I have wanted to smoke this cigar for quit a while but just didn’t have the time to give it a proper review. Well, that time has arrived and now I am happy to give you my verdict on whether this cigar by Don Pepin will pass the mighty Stew test.
CIGAR MAKE UP:
WRAPPER: Mexican
BINDER & FILLER: Nicaraguan / Nicaraguan
Length/Ring: 5.7 x 58
Shape: Valentino
Strength: Medium to Full
Price: $8.55
My Observations: This cigar was rolled with true perfection just as I expected from a Don Pepin creation. I loved how the deep chocolate leaf wrapper twinkled as I rolled it through my fingers due to its oily presence. Add in the medium size veins and presto you have a true winner in the appearance department.
- On my finger touch inspection, I found no soft spots or imperfections. Most definitely an “A” in the grading department.
Cigar Label: True art work that was surrounded by all the right colors to draw your attention to it.The colors consist of gold, yellow, red, blue, black, and white.
Snip: Straight cut.
Pre-Draw: Smooth with a chocolate taste.
Flavors: The 1st third of this cigar consisted of chocolate, cedar, earth, and small hints of leather. The 2nd third continued with all these wonderful flavors that was joined by a cool peppery taste. The last third didn’t change and that folks is how it ended.
Draw: Smooth.
Burn line: Jagged at times.
Liked it: Most definitely!
Recommend it: Of course!
Hint: None
