BLOCK ISLAND CIGAR by Jesus Fuego & Fuente Family

Hello everyone, today I am reviewing a cigar called the “Block Island” from Block Island Rhode Island. As stated in the heading this cigar is made by Jesus Fuego and the Fuente family exclusively for the folks of Block Island Cigars. I came across this cigar from a friend who brought me back one to try. So please note that this review was conducted on a one cigar only taste test. Anyways if you would like to try this cigar line yourself please call (401) 466-5330 or you can reach them at their Facebook page here: blockislandcigar  So with the history behind us, I am now ready to give you my verdict on if it passes the mighty “Stew” test or not.

WRAPPER: ??????

BINDER & FILLER: Believe its Ecuador / Nicaraguan

Length/Ring: 6 X 58 I believe

Strength: Medium to Full

Price: Gifted unknown of actual price per stick.

My Observations: This cigar was rolled to perfection and looks great as you twirl it in your hands. I love the light natural leaf wrapper and how its small veins blend perfectly with its makeup. No soft spots to speak of and I am hoping that the smoking experience is just as great.

Over all “A” in the grading department

Cigar Label: None

Snip: Straight cut.

Pre-Draw:  Coffee.

Flavors: The 1st third of this cigar consisted of spice, earth, and coffee. The 2nd third consisted of earth, coffee, and cocoa. The last third continued with these flavors and that’s how it finished out.

Draw: Perfect

Burn line: A bit jagged at times but even out every time.

Liked it: Yes

Recommend it: Yes.

Hint: Give them a call you will thank me later.

Over All

Until Next Time
