Hello everyone, today I am reviewing another cigar for the good folks at Famous Smoke Shop. The cigar is called “Vindicator” and its made by the folks at Oliva. Again, I would like to thank Mr. Scott Shemtov of Famous Smoke Shop for giving me a chance to try this creation. So with that said, I am now ready to give you my verdict on if it passes the mighty “Stew” test or not.
CIGAR MAKE UP:
WRAPPER: Nicaraguan “Habano”
BINDER & FILLER: Nicaraguan / Nicaraguan
Length/Ring: 5 x 50
Strength: Medium to Full
Price: Gifted but costs $17.99 for a 5 pack.
My Observations: This cigar is really nice to look at. I say this because of its nice chocolate-brown leaf wrapper that is complimented by a series of small non noticeable veins. To the touch, I found no soft spots and no imperfections to speak of.
• Over all “A” in the grading department
Cigar Label: Red, black, gold, white, and silver that has a Gurkha type look to it with the warrior depicted.
Snip: Straight cut.
Pre-Draw: Peppery.
Flavors: The 1st third of this cigar consisted of pepper, cedar, and coffee. The 2nd third consisted of pepper, cedar, coffee, and a sweet type flavor that reminds me of an orange. The last third continued with these flavors and that’s pretty much how it finished out.
Draw: Smooth
Burn line: Mostly even.
Liked it: Yes
Recommend it: Yes.
Over All
Stew
I’m personally turned off by the toes in the picture. Yuk!!!!!!!
Mike,
I agree and its been fixed. Sorry (lol)
Sounds like this is right up my alley! I’m a big fan of full body stuff and that price sounds great. Love your review style too, simple and to the point.
