Good morning, afternoon or evening to you in regards to whenever your reading this. Today I have the pleasure of smoking another cigar which I’ve never had the privilege to smoke before. I picked it up through Privada but you can seek it out on other places as well. Looks good and I’m very curious to see how it will perform. Without further ado let’s go.

Cigar Makeup:

Wrapper: Mexican San Andres 

Binder: Nicaraguan

Filler: Nicaragua

1st 3rd: Black pepper, roasted coffee, nuts, and chocolate.

2nd 3rd: Rich dark chocolate, coffee beans, graham cracker, and vanilla.

Final 3rd: Rich dark chocolate, graham cracker, licorice and vanilla.

Smoking Apparatus:

Final Verdict: Truly and exceptional cigar that keeps your interest throughout the smoke. Should you buy it? “Yes!”

A. Flores PDR 1975 Sun-grown

Hello, today we continue with the PDR series. Haven’t smoked a sun grown in awhile so I’m definitely looking forward to this one.

Cigar Makeup:

WRAPPER: Habano Sun Grown Ecuador

BINDER: Olor Dominican Republic

FILLER: Corojo Dominican Republic & Habano Nicaragua

Robusto: 5 x 52

1st 3rd: Creamy rich buttery taste along with coffee and spice.

2nd 3rd: The creamy buttery flavor continues with the rich coffee flavor joined now with cinnamon and caramel.

Final 3rd: Coffee, caramel, spice and cinnamon with a little cedar to finish it out.

Lighting Apparatus:

Final Verdict : Just a true pleasure to smoke especially on a brisk Autumn day or night. Should you buy it? “Yes!”

A Flores 1975 Series Privada 58 Maduro

Recently I attended a cigar event at Mr Cigar in North Providence for PDR cigars by A Flores. During this time I picked up a 5 pack for reviewing purposes. So without further ado here’s the first of five.

Cigar Makeup:

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Maduro

Binder: Nicaraguan Habano

Filler: Nicaraguan Habano & Dominican Corojo

Size: Robusto

1st 3rd: Pepper, earth, and cedar.

2nd 3rd: Earth and cedar small notes of coffee.

Final 3rd: Earth, cedar, and coffee.

Smoking Apparatus:

Final Verdict; Disappointed to say the least. The smoke was boring to put it mildly. Should you buy it? “No.”

Anejo XO Oscuro

Smoking the second installment from Brian’s Box today. Again another company I know little about so again I’m very interested in what this smoking experience will be.

Cigar Makeup:

Wrapper: Sun-Grown Mexican San Andrés
Binder: Dominican Olor
Filler: Dominican Olor, Nicaragua (Jalapa) and Brazilian Mata Norte

1st 3rd: Rich dark chocolate, peanuts, slight notes of pepper and coffee roasted beans.

2nd 3rd: Roasted coffee beans, tobacco, spice and cedar.

Final 3rd: Roasted coffee, spice, cedar, slight hits of graham cracker and sour dough.

Smoking Apparatus:

Final Verdict:

Well not a bad experience but with that said it’s nothing to write home about either. I have to say that personally I won’t be revisiting it but that doesn’t me you shouldn’t give it a try either. So should you buy it? “No.” But I’ll leave that to you.

La Hacienda Flor Fina

Hello, new cigar for you today which I personally know nothing about. I received it in Brian’s Box which is a new club through Privada Cigar. So without much to say about the brand, let’s get into it.

1st 3rd: Black pepper, cedar, earth and more black pepper.

2nd 3rd: Tobacco, pepper, earth, and cedar.

Final 3rd: Pepper, wood, earth and cedar.

Smoking Apparatus:

Final Verdict: Just not my cup of tea. I basically struggled to get to the end due to the lack of flavor interest. Should you try it? “No.”

Banned “Tony the Tiger”

Hello today we are hitting the second stick from the October Privada box. From their banned series it’s Tony or what seems behind the band to be. Anyways it brought a chuckle to my day. So let’s see if it’s any good shall we.

Cigar Makeup: Nothing available at the time of this review.

1st 3rd; Pepper, spice, floral, and dirt.

2nd 3rd: Still strong belts of pepper, spice, dirt, cedar, floral, and slight hits of chocolate.

Final 3rd: Nothing really changed accept for the addition of sugar hits.

Smoking Apparatus

Final Verdict: Not a bad smoke but just not for me. Should you try it? “Yes.”

Mad Monkey

Well Halloween season is upon is so today we are starting it off with the Mad Monkey from the October Privada box. I never smoked the original but read overwhelming great reviews about it. Hoping this one will follow in its footsteps.

Final Verdict: A home run just outstanding. If you can get it do it!

La Gloria Series R Maduro

Today I am I take a look a legend in the cigar market. This stuck has been around for a long long time and seems to just her better with it. The brand has a high loyal following so I am going to find out if it’s really all that. So with that speech behind us lets go!

I totally get the following this bad boy has after an unbelievable smoking experience. This stick is full of flavors and never stop giving. Easily one of my top 3 cigars now. Should you buy it? “Yes!”
